The screening exercise for the 25 official aspirants of the All Progressives Congress prior booked to hang on Monday has been deferred once more.
This is the second time that the National Working Committee of the party will be moving the date of the official screening after it neglected to hold last end of the week.
The improvement was affirmed in an explanation by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Sunday night.
The assertion said, "another date for the activity will be reported right away. Any burden caused is profoundly lamented."
The rundown of the aspirants who have up to this point presented their selection structures are the National Leader of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osibanjo; previous Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; previous Minister of Niger Delta Development, Sen. Godswill Akpabio; previous Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu; previous Imo State governor, Sen. Rochas Okorocha and previous Ogun state governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosu.
Others are Pastor Tunde Bakare, Cross River State governor, Prof. Ben Ayade; his Ebonyi State partner, Gov. Dave Umahi; Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; previous Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani; Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello; Jigawa Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and previous Zamfara State governor, Sen. Ahmed Yerima.
Others on the rundown are Senator Ajayi Borroffice, the main female aspirant, Mrs Uju Kennedy Ohnenye; Pastor Nicholas Felix Nwagbo, previous Speaker of Representative, Dimeji Bankole; Senate President, Dr Ahmed Lawan, previous Minister of Information, Chief Ikeobasi Mokelu and oil big shot, Mr Tein Jack Rich.
The APC had up to this point set up 17 boards that screened 1,693 aspirants including 145 governorship, 351 senatorial and 1,197 aspirants on May 14 and 15 in front of the party primary.
