We will review Appeal Court’s ruling, decide on next action – ASUU


 The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has stated it'd overview the judgement of the Appeal Court that ordered the union to cease its strike, to decide its subsequent line of action.


DAILY POST had suggested that the enchantment courtroom docket on Friday ordered the union to go back to paintings as in advance ordered through the National Industrial Court with instant effect.


In response to the clean courtroom docket judgement, ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, informed DAILY POST that the union is but to formally obtain the Appeal Court ruling.


He stated the union could after receiving the judgement, undergo the record with its attorneys and determine on its subsequent line of action.


He stated, “We have now no longer obtained the ruling, while we get it, we are able to overview it with our attorney after which we will take the following step”.


DAILY POST recollects that the Federal Government, following its lack of ability to attain a truce with the college lecturer, dragged ASUU to the National Industrial Court on September 11.


The courtroom docket on September 24, ordered the putting academics to go back to elegance even as negotiation with the Federal Government continues.


Miffed through the ruling, the union headed to the appellate courtroom docket to enchantment the ruling.
