President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday supported the allocation of housing units in the National Housing Estate the nation over to 22 individuals from the Super Eagles who won the 1994 African Cup of Nations.
The president talked during the authority commissioning of housing projects under the National Housing Program (NHP) Phase 1 at the Three Arms Zone in Minna.
Addressed by the Minister of State of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Zubairu Dada, the president stated that the individuals from the Super Eagles would be allowed to choose any house in any of the houses in the housing projects the nation over.
"This gives an amazing chance to recollect our legends, the brave Super Eagles to whom our nation made a guarantee of giving housing to winning the 1994 African Cup of Nations, which has stayed unfulfilled.
