Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank has showed that President Muhammadu Buhari will unveil the designed Naira notes the following day Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Emefiele introduced this at some stage in the Central Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee month-to-month assembly in Abuja.
Recall that Emefiele had introduced in October that the apex financial institution might trouble redesigned N200, N500, and N1,000 notes, powerful December 15, 2022,
However, he has disclosed that CBN won’t wait until December anymore for the disclosing of the brand new notes.
He stated the closing date for returning the vintage Naira notes to industrial banks in trade for newly designed ones might now no longer be shifted.
